• The tools are the most important things that hackers need to have all the time with them.
• These tools are Computer, Web tools, Network devices, Reference books and last but not the least Brain with never give up attitude.
• Computer system includes laptop computers, Desktop computers etc. System with latest hardwares are advisable. 
• Web tools include the Operating systems dedicated for Pentesting( Ethical Hacking ) like Backtrack, Kali linux.

BACKTRACK and  KALI  LINUX are the operating systems that you will always need. Both of these are LINUX based operating systems which have all the required tools. 1. Select the version of BACKTRACK  that you want to download.
2.  Select your windows manager GNOME or KDE.
3. select your O.S. 32 bit or 64 bit.
4. Next select the image type ISO.
5. Next click on direct if u want to directly download or download torrent as per your requirement. 
6. The size of the image file will be 3.1 gb

There are few changes done by the development team in KALI LINUX. KALI is the latest version of its preceder BACKTRACK. So it is advisable for you to get acquinted with BACKTRACK.

You will really enjoy working with BACKTRACK  or KALI LINUX if you like working with command terminal. COMMAND TERMINAL is same as command prompt in WINDOWS. 

If you are working on BACKTRACK or KALI you may have to remember different command syntax and methods how to execute them. So get ready to give some trouble to your lazy brain.
